The Marketing, Communications and Media Team at Advent IM is highly motivated, innovative and agile. We express the spirit and expertise of Advent IM to the market. About the Marketing & Social Media Coordinator Role

The main focus of this role is business to business Social Media audience building and engagement, as well as seeking and evaluating potential new platforms for suitability.

Reporting to the Head of Marketing, Communications and Media, we want someone who is keen to learn and develop themselves and our brand. We have a substantial social media base that requires regular engagement and update but our aim is to build this further, increase it strategically and identify new ways to engage with potential clients as well as the wider business community.

On a daily basis, this will include sharing Advent IM digital content, news, opinion and other current events that pertain to security. It will also require the coordination of all branded personally held social media account to ensure widest possible footprint or the most strategically beneficial. This will require the ability to communicate and liaise at a senior level. Additionally, there will be specific advertising or promotional activity on designated platforms to implement, manage and report. This role requires a knowledge and understanding of the suitability or tone for each platform to ensure our content never misses the mark. The successful candidate will be able to report back results regularly and suggest improvements across all of our platforms. They will also be able to liaise with other team members to ensure they contribute to the overall effectiveness of the team.

Experience (with examples) in business-to-business social media management is acceptable in the absence of training or a qualification.

This role will also include other areas of Marketing, including; email campaigns, events, website maintenance, digital content, podcasting and video production. The successful candidate does not need specific experience in these areas, just the curiosity and enthusiasm to learn and thrive.

 

Requirements

  • Degree or equivalent (experience also considered)
  • (Evidenced) Experience or qualification in Social Media and in Digital Marketing
  • Creative and innovative individual
  • Work well in a small team; be supportive, helpful with a can-do attitude
  • Show an interest in security as well as business in general
  • Hybrid remote and office location, according to requirements
  • Based on 40 hours per week
