Vacancy for Cyber Security Consultant

The Role:

A position has arisen for a Cyber Security Consultant to join our busy and expanding Consultancy Team. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrable and working knowledge of Information Risk Analysis and Management methodologies and standards, as well as proven experience of ISO27001 auditing and implementation. The successful candidate must be capable of working on multiple projects at any given time and must therefore be able to demonstrate good personal as well as client time and resource management skills.

This company is an established, independent security consultancy with a proven background and unique approach to holistic security solutions. We are currently experiencing excellent growth in sales, despite the current challenging times, which facilitates the need to grow our existing consultancy resources. The company operates in a small, family environment where all employees are part of the team. Our customer base is both public and private sector and we operate on a nationwide basis.

The Location:

This role will be a combination of remote working and client site visits.  However, in the current climate it is remote working, with exceptional site visits only where absolutely necessary and subject to a COVID secure environment.

The Candidate:

Essential Skills / Qualifications

  • Certified Cyber Professional (CCP SIRA)
  • ISO27001 Lead Auditor with proven experience of auditing against the standards
  • Risk Analysis/Management experience
  • Good data protection knowledge
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Excellent communication skills and strong team player

Desirable Skills

  • Experience in training and delivering courses
  • Security Architecture knowledge
  • Experience of Central / Local Government

The successful candidate must be able to provide references that can corroborate the above skills and must be capable of holding a minimum of SC clearance or eligible to undergo sponsorship.

The Package:

Basic Salary:          £45,000 – £50,000 basic depending on qualifications and experience

Vacancy for Sales Executive – Security Consultancy

The Role:

A vacancy has arisen in our Sales Department for selling information security and physical security consultancy services to the UK public sector (Government, Police and NHS) and the wider commercial sectors. The role will involve self-generation of leads through proactive telecalling, establishing a decision maker, educating the client on the benefits of the solutions, attending sales meetings supported by proposal and quote generation and subsequent account management following successful sales closure. This is a full sales cycle role and the successful candidate will be expected to take full responsibility for his/her accounts. Full service portfolio training will be provided.

The Location:

This role is predominantly home based. The company’s offices are based in Halesowen, West Midlands.

The Candidate:

  • 2+ years industry experience
  • A proven track record in sales from prospecting to sales closure
  • Solutions/Consultative Sales experience essential
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • An excellent approach to business development with the confidence to take knock backs in their stride
  • Experience in a services sector is preferred but not essential
  • Experience of using a CRM system is essential (the internal system is SugarCRM)

 The Package:

Basic Salary:          £30,000 basic, OTE £51,000

Commission:         5% of revenue per sale – uncapped.  Current targets are set at c£420,000

In addition we offer 28 days holiday plus bank holidays, payment into a company pension scheme and reasonable expenses including mileage and subsistence.
