This open course is aimed at Information Asset Owners (IAOs) in Public Sector organisations who require a deeper understanding of their responsibilities. It covers the IAO role within the governance structure, its relationship to other information assurance roles, principles of information assurance and risk management, and the current threat landscape to public sector information and systems. By the end, participants will be better equipped to manage their information assets, assess risks, and apply appropriate mitigation strategies.
Our IAO Intermediate open course provides a flexible training option for organisations with only one or a small number of delegates needing Intermediate-level IAO training, offering an alternative to our traditional group-based sessions typically delivered to teams of IAOs or related roles.
