NIS Directive /Regulations..is it on your radar?

GDPR made a massive splash, there is no denying that. At around the same time as we were fighting our way through thousands of ‘consent’ emails, NIS Directive became UK law as Network and Information Systems Regulations 2018. Clearly, it didn’t have the same level of PR that GDPR enjoyed because there was precious little coverage of it, despite its importance of securing networks and information systems in our critical infrastructure and digital provision.
Of course, it doesn’t apply to everyone but some of the objectives seem like common sense for any business actually…
