Course Description
Our 1-day course is designed for Senior Information Risk Owners in both the public and private sectors who need a more developed understanding of their responsibilities as SIRO. You can join our SIRO courses on one of our open dates, or we can deliver a group course at a date to suit you.
This training course will give you a greater understanding of your role and responsibilities as SIRO for your organisation. It will also cover both the principles of information risk management (IRM) and information assurance (IA) using several desktop, scenario-based exercises to test and improve your understanding of managing information security incidents and information risk challenges. At the end of the training, you will have the confidence to successfully undertake the SIRO role and deal with information risk and incidents should they occur within your organisation.
