Preparing for IAO

Having a robust programme of Information Asset Ownership, enabled by capable and competent IAOs brings huge benefits. It facilitates and ensures compliance with legislative requirements such as the Data Protection Act 2018. Also, through a thorough understanding of what assets you have, why you have them and who needs access to them, it can ensure assets are accessed, used, shared and exploited in a legitimate manner to their maximum potential. Preparing to setup an Information Asset Ownership programme for the first time, or being tasked to bring a lapsed system back to effectiveness, can feel like a daunting task. Underpinned by our years of experience of delivering both training and consultancy services in the Information Management arena, this course has been developed for organisations that are preparing for the roll-out of IAOs who want to ensure they get the best possible results and access to a staged and supported learning journey for their IAOs.
