UK’s Leading Independent Holistic Security Advisors Gain Quality Management Accolade
ISO 9001 provides badge of quality assurance
Advent IM, the UK’s leading independent advisors on holistic protective security, is pleased to announce its successful award of ISO 9001, the internationally renowned standard that supports the implementation of quality management systems and processes.
ISO 9001 is one in a series of standards aimed at helping organisations to understand the processes they need in place to deliver services to customers. It provides a set of criteria to help those who wish to operate in accordance with the standard, ensure quality in service delivery and gain certification.
Although, working towards the principles of the ISO 9001 standard for many years, Advent IM took the decision to move from compliance to certification to support the advisory services it provides to both the public and private sectors on a wide range of security issues including physical security, information security, business continuity and PCI-DSS compliance.
As an advocate of best practice themselves, delivering advice to customers on implementing ISO 27001 and BS 25999, Advent IM understands the benefits of complying and certifying to management system standards.
