A BUNGLING county council has been fined an eyewatering £100,000 after officials left documents with the personal detail of more than 100 people including vulnerable children in a disused building.

The Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) blasted Hampshire County Council after social care documents and 45 bags of confidential waste files were haphazardly left in the office for two years after it relocated 100 staff to a new building. Read more.
